Tools:

1 Small flat screwdriver

1 Combi- or needle nose pliers

1. Remove the rain funnel and the bottom of the rain gauge

Remove the rain funnel by pushing from the bottom up. Then poke the bottom out of the rain gauge with the screwdriver from the top.

2. Unscrew the marked screw with the pliers and push the tipping-spoon out of the box from the top

3. Loosen the wires from the old tipping spoon

Use the screwdriver to loosen the brown and white wire from the terminal block on the tipping spoon.

4. Insert the wires into the new tipping spoon

Insert the brown and white wire into the terminal block in the same spots that you removed the previous wires from. Tighten the wires with the screwdriver.

5. Guide the new tipping spoon into the box

Tighten the screw with the pliers. Make sure that the terminal block on the tipping spoon is position straight inside the box.

6. Reattach the funnel and base for the precipitation sensor to the box
