How to replace your air sensor - v2

Tools:

1 Philips screwdriver

1 Flat screwdriver

1 Wire cutter

1 Small flat pliers

1. Disconnect the battery

Open the service box using a Philips screwdriver. Disconnect the battery from connector C6.

2. Cut off the two cable strips

Cut off the two cable strips on the back of the weather station that's holding the cables from the wind and air sensor.

3. Disconnect the air sensor cable

Follow the cable from the old air sensor and remove it from the gasket. It's easier if you lift the entire gasket out of the box. Disconnect the cable by turning it counter clockwise.

4. Remove the old air sensor

Loosen the three screws on top of the chassis with the flathead screwdriver while holding the nuts with the pliers.

5. Mount the new sensor

Fasten the new sensor on top of the weather station with the nuts.

6. Reconnect the sensor

Connect the new sensor cable to the corresponding 4-pole connector in the service box, turning it clockwise. Fit the cable into the gasket and then remount the gasket in the box.

7. Fasten the sensor cables

Use the new cable strips to secure the cables to the chassis.

8. Turn on the battery and close the box

Reconnect the C6 battery cable and close the service box.

9. Switch on the weather station

Use the magnet to turn on the station by moving it in a circular motion around the activation circle.

You will receive data on your phone within approximately 10 minutes.

If the weather station is stuck in initialisation or cannot be turned on, repeat the previous steps without changing the battery and wait at least 30 seconds from disconnecting power to reconnecting the battery.
