How to replace your wind sensor - v1

Tools:

1 Philips screwdriver

1 Magnet

1 5.5mm spanner

1. Open the service box

Use the screwdriver to open the service box.

2. Switch off the battery

Press the grey terminal block with a pointed object to remove the wires.

Disconnect the battery from the board

3. Unscrew the bolts and screws from the wind sensor

Use a Philips screwdriver for the top and the 5.5mm spanner for the bolts on the bottom.

Dismount the plastic wind sensor

4. Remove the coupling from the base of the wind sensor

Turn the coupling counter clockwise until you can remove it from its socket.

Disconnect the coupling at the base of the wind sensor

5. Connect the new wind sensor to the coupling

6. Attach the new wind sensor back with the screws and bolts

7. Turn on the battery

Insert the black and red wires into the grey terminal block, open it by pressing on it with a pointed object.

8. Close the service box

9. Turn on the weather station again

Use the magnet to turn on the weather station by moving the magnet in a circular pattern around the circle on the side of the service box. Once it has been turned on, you will receive data in your app within 10 minutes.

If the weather station doesn't turn back on, repeat the steps 7 to 9 again, and wait at least 30 seconds from you disconnect the battery to you reconnect it.
