Use a pointed object to remove the individual wires for the ground sensor. They are color coded in the following order from left to right: Red, yellow, empty, black.

Feed the new soil temperature sensor through both parts of the screw fitting and then the 3 colour-coded wires through the hole in the box.
Follow the same sequence as you pulled them out, from left to right: Red, yellow, empty, black.

Insert the black and red wire into the grey terminal block.
Use the Philips screwdriver to close the box and make a 10 cm deep hole in the ground where you can place the soil temperature sensor. Tie excess cable to the mounting rod with zip ties.
Use the magnet to switch on the station by moving it in a circular pattern around the activation circle on the weather station.
You will receive data on your phone within approximately 10 minutes.
If the weather station is stuck in initialisation or cannot be turned on, repeat the previous steps without changing the battery, and wait at least 30 seconds from disconnecting power to reconnecting the battery.
